Client: American Fuel and Petrochemical Manufacturers (AFPM)
AFPM engaged Recolude to enhance their 'Fired Heater Training' virtual reality (VR) simulation
by incorporating advanced recording and analytics capabilities, with the goal of extracting
meaningful metrics for training performance evaluation.
Several key objectives were accomplished during this collaboration. Recolude successfully
integrated their spatial capture service, allowing for the comprehensive analysis of trainees'
interactions within the VR environment. A custom analytics dashboard was developed to provide
AFPM with a centralized hub for visualizing key performance indicators and training metrics.
This dashboard also included CSV/Excel export functionalities for seamless data extraction.
To ensure a user-friendly experience, a desktop application with integrated data visualization
tools was created. This application not only enhanced the overall training experience but also
provided AFPM with a robust platform to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of their Fired
Heater Training VR simulation. The integration of these visualization tools collectively
empowered AFPM to pinpoint areas where individuals encountered the most challenges or
experienced failures throughout the course.
